Just as our Heavenly Father is eternal, so is His power of the priesthood on the earth. Men have been given a GREAT responsibility to be bearers of this priesthood. Not for themselves, to boast or to brag. But TO SERVE ALL THOSE around them. It is a weight they carry from a young age through their entire life.
And yet, God expects more from our Brethren. In order to exercise their offices in the priesthood they must BE WORTHY. At any moment they may be needed. To administer, to bless or to pray. And through Gods power they must be clean and worthy to bear His special gift. Because all it does on earth will hold through to heaven.
Young men, be GOOD bearers of this ETERNAL PRIESTHOOD! Seek to bless others, seek to bless your families. As you serve, God will bless you as well.
